My second DVD for the Cajon was just released and is available in the online-shop. I’m very excited about this one, it features a huge amount of advanced material including techniques and rhythms from India, Cuba, Spain and the Middle-East.
There are also chapters on odd-metres, independence, sound effects and a big one on brushes. Check out the trailer:

The cajon is a popular instrument in flamenco and cuban music. It´s made completely of wood, sometimes with a string in the inside to create a snare sound. In pop music it´s often used to emulate a drumset.
