A little while ago I received a couple of instruments from Theo “El Greco” Godas (Descarga Percussion)

I was looking for a new/additional Udu drum for some time and these ones are indeed extremely beautiful. Both of them sound pretty amazing, and quite different from each other.

I’m happy to also start collaborating with Theo and have his instruments available in the online shop.

He also makes wonderful custom Ceramic Dohollas featuring all kinds of different skins and internal lamp mount.

My second DVD for the Cajon was just released and is available in the online-shop. I’m very excited about this one, it features a huge amount of advanced material including techniques and rhythms from India, Cuba, Spain and the Middle-East.
There are also chapters on odd-metres, independence, sound effects and a big one on brushes. Check out the trailer:

Susan and Martin spent a couple of days in the rainbow studio to mix the new CD – Thoughts and Memories.
